Omid Farokhzad is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer for Seer. Previously, he was Professor at Harvard Medical School and directed the Center for Nanomedicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He has authored over 190 papers and is an inventor of over 250 issued and pending patents. Omid previously founded BIND Therapeutics (NASDAQ: BIND, acquired by Pfizer), Selecta Biosciences (NASDAQ: SELB; merged with Cartesian Therapeutics NASDAQ: RNAC), Tarveda Therapeutics and PrognomiQ, where he serves as Chair of Board. Omid is a 2023 Mustafa Prize and the 2013 RUSNANOPRIZE for his work on nanomaterial surface modificagtion. He is a 2018 Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He is a recipient of the 2016 Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the 2014 Golden Door Award from the International Institute of New England, for his scientific, societal and economic contributions to America as an immigrant; and the 2012 Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year award. He received his M.D. and M.A. from Boston University and his M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Meeta Gulyani has served as a member of our board of directors since November 2021. Ms. Gulyani has been Senior Vice President, General Manager, Bioprocessing and Head of Life Science Strategy for Ecolab since December 2024. She was previously a member of Novo Advisory Group at Novo Holdings, the holding and investment company of the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Prior to that, Ms. Gulyani was Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy, Business Development and Sustainability at the Life Science division of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, a global life science and technology company. She also served as Executive Vice President, Head of Global Strategy and Franchises at the Pharmaceutical business of Merck KGaA. Prior to her roles at Merck KGaA, Ms. Gulyani was General Manager, South Asia and Head of Global Portfolio Management at Roche Pharmaceuticals. Preceding this, she held numerous marketing and sales leadership roles at Sanofi, a global pharmaceutical company. Ms. Gulyani holds a MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Shri Ram College of Commerce at Delhi University in India.

Isaac Ro is a Partner at Catalio Capital Management where he has led multiple venture and private credit investments in breakthrough life science companies. He currently serves on the boards of Pink Dx and PrognomiQ. Previously, he was Executive Chairman of Haystack Oncology and led the sale of the company to Quest Diagnostics in 2023. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Sema4 (NASDAQ: WGS) where he took the company public in 2021 and led the acquisition of GeneDx. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Thrive Earlier Detection where he led the launch and subsequent sale of the company to Exact Sciences in 2020. From 2010 to 2019, Isaac led the U.S. Medical Technology and Life Science Tools equity research teams at Goldman Sachs. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he held the same role at Leerink Partners. Isaac earned his B.A. in History and was Pre-Med at Middlebury College.

Nicolas Roelofs previously served as the President of the Life Sciences Group at Agilent Technologies, Group Operations Officer for the Life Sciences Division of Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., and Chief Operating Officer at Stratagene Inc. He has previously served on the boards of several public and private companies including Olink Holding AB. Nick currently serves as chairman of Sengenics Corporation LLC, a board member of Velsera, LGC Group, and an advisory board member of 908 Devices Inc. Nick holds a doctorate in organic chemistry from University of Nevada, Reno, a master’s degree in organic chemistry from Iowa State University, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, and German from Simpson College.

Dr. Chris Mason is a Professor of Genomics, Physiology, and Biophysics at Weill Cornell Medicine and Director of the WorldQuant Initiative for Quantitative Prediction. His laboratory creates and deploys new genomics technologies and predictive algorithms for medicine, which helps to ameliorate human disease and lays the foundation for long-term human survival on other planets. Dr. Mason’s work spans >300 peer-reviewed papers, five patents, five diagnostics tests, and the foundation of 10 biotechnology companies and 3 non-profits. Dr. Mason also holds affiliate faculty appointments at the New York Genome Center, Yale Law School, and the Consortium for Space Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gary Patti is the Michael and Tana Powell Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, where he holds appointments in the departments of chemistry, genetics, and medicine. Dr. Patti is the Senior Director of the Center for Mass Spectrometry & Metabolic Tracing, Director of the Clinical Research Core in Medicine, Dean's Fellow of Advancement and Entrepreneurship, and Director of Faculty Affairs. Dr. Patti is also the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Panome Bio, a multi-omics contract research organization. Professor Patti’s research focuses on developing and applying mass spectrometry-based technologies to enhance our understanding of human diseases. He is particularly dedicated to scaling mass spectrometry-based discovery analyses to the population level for precision medicine. Professor Patti has been recognized with numerous honors including the Biemann Medal from the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, the Midwest Award from ACS, the Innovation Award from the Academy of Science, and an inaugural NIH award for revolutionizing, innovative, and visionary environmental health research.
